Independence Day

We celebrate Independence Day on the 15th of August every year through a flag hoisting programme organized by MSHAWS members. Independence Day is a day to remember the heroic martyrs of our country and their sacrifices. To celebrate our country’s independence, with the help of some children and villagers, every year we organize some inspirational plays and cultural events. On this day we also organize blood donation camps to encourage the youth to take social responsibilities and learn to carry on.

Rabindra Jayanti

As Rabindranath Tagore was born on the 25th day of the Bengali month of Baishakh in the year 1268, Rabindra Jayanti is celebrated in early May following the 25th day of the Bengali calendar. Every year we organize numerous cultural functions like “Kabipranam” and “Shradhanjali”, where many small children and villagers participate to make the day successful. Children perform dance and dramas written by the great Tagore and fill our eyes with tears of happiness.

Republic Day

We celebrate Republic Day on the 26th of January every year. The founder of our organization hoists the National Flag and distributes sweets among the members and nearby people in our area. We organize drawing competitions for little children of our locality and distribute prizes among the top 10 winners of the drawing competitions. All the participants get a certificate of participation. We also deliver a heartfelt speech to tribute to our freedom fighters.

World Environment Day

June 5 is World Environment Day. We celebrate Environment Day with the help of local people from our organization where villagers and some localities participate in the program. We have decided that we must live in pollution-free areas and keep our environment pollution free. Members of our organization attend the program arranged by them and discuss the importance of plants and the prevention of burning plastic and rubber tires to safeguard our future species. We plant many trees mainly with other activities.

World Health Day

On the 7th of April, we commemorate World Health Day as a global health awareness day, sponsored by WHO and other organizations that pay special attention to the connection between the condition of the planet and our health. Celebrations are often concerned with important topics on health to draw attention and aware people throughout the world. On this day, we organize a special conversation panel where we reflect on the idea of taking care of your own health to reduce the stigma around illness and encourage people to seek treatment and lead a healthy life. Every year we organize free Health Check-up camp, free Eye Check-up Camp and free Dental Check-up Camp for all.

Women’s Day

We celebrate Women’s Day every year on the 8th of March to commemorate their accomplishments in all fields whether it’s educational, cultural, or socio-economical. On this special occasion, our MSHAWS members host several events like debate competitions where we intend to highlight some of the most important issues like gender equality, their societal rights, and speak against abuse or violence.  We encourage the common people to convey their concerns about the state of women in our country to aware them. Specially we organize self defence programs with modern martial arts.

Children’s Day

Every year on the 14th of November we celebrate Children’s Day with the aim of spreading child awareness among the common people. Children’s Day is celebrated across India to increase awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. On this day all the children and students participated in the cultural program arranged by us.

World AIDS Day

To succeed in our mission, every year we celebrate World AIDS Day on the 1st day of December with the participation of people from around the world in order to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and discuss the treatments and prevention services possible to cure the disease. We also organize special remembering events to mourn for those who have died of the disease and pray wholeheartedly for those who are suffering.
